If you're cruising through Baltimore’s O'Donnell Square and craving bold Southern flavors with a modern twist, Southern Provisions should definitely be on your radar. Nestled at 3000 O'Donnell St, Baltimore, MD 21224, this spot is where comfort food meets cool vibes. It’s got a laid-back yet lively atmosphere — think trendy, a bit loud (in a good way), with live music and happy hour specials that make any gathering more fun.

Now, let’s talk food — because that’s where Southern Provisions really shines. One bite of their Nashville Chicken Waffle Sandwich, and you’ll understand the hype. It’s crispy, spicy, and just the right amount of messy — in the best way possible. Not in the mood for a full sandwich? Go for the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders — small in size, big in flavor. And yes, the Fried Chicken here is everything you want it to be: crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned.

But Southern Provisions doesn’t stop there. Ever tried Mac N Cheese Spring Rolls? They’re a genius fusion of creamy mac and cheese goodness wrapped in a crispy shell — comfort food reimagined. And for those who love smoky, slow-cooked meats, the Pulled Pork Brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Whether you’re rolling in with a group of friends or just stopping by for a solo bite and a drink, this place has the energy that makes you want to stay a little longer. With its blend of Southern staples and bold, playful twists, Southern Provisions serves up good times right alongside good eats.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and the vibe was pretty chill, with groups scattered by the bar and at tables. We picked a table by the door and luckily there were heat lamps that kept us warm on a chilly late November night. The cocktails were okay, but the bartender did go out of her way to find olives for a dirty martini. We shared some plates, including a salad that was fairly straightforward and a couple of their classics. The cast iron mac 'n' cheese was nicely textured with some soft bites and crispy edges intermixed. The honey hot chicken was excellent! The brioche bun was soft, the chicken had a hint of sweetness and packed a nice heat that wasn't too spicy. If you're craving southern comfort food, Southern Provisions has a few dishes that might do the trick!

This brunch is so good! They updated their menu and it's a really great upgrade. Highly recommend the Nashville chicken waffle sandwich. They also serve giant mimosas that are very delicious and refreshing. Really nice summer vibes when they can open up the garage door front. Been back multiple times for this brunch

Really nice space they have a large inside space with plenty of TVs. they also have a large tent coveted outdoor space. The bar tender that served us was very friendly and poured a very good drink. Can't say that about all bar/restaurants in Canton Square. Definitely will be back

I came here for happy hour on a rainy Friday night. The drink prices were great. I didn't order food but I've heard great things before. Also, the service was good, I think if you are cheap drinks and a calmer happy hour this place is good. It might have been because of the rain but the restaurant was pretty empty.
